Ways to Help run a Thriller Themed Party

Are you still looking for something to complete your Thriller themed party? Maybe you just don’t have the money to spend on more props. Below are a few ideas that can help you if you have a limited budget.

For a Thriller Themed Party

Offer some sort of prize for the following,

The best looking costume of the thriller zombie costumes.

The best looking Michael Jackson costume.

The scariest Thriller Zombie costume.

The most original Costume.

Another idea is when you plan the party and are doing your invites, R.S.V.P. your guests  so you can pre plan the following.

Depending on the size of your party, break up your guests into two or more groups.

you can separate  by age, sex or draw of a hat. It doesn’t matter.

During the course of your party have each group  dance the Thriller.

For Thriller Themed party Props

Use some scrap boards, (2×4′s plywood etc..)nails, and a can of black spray paint.  Build a crude coffin shaped box to set in the corner of the room.  Have that corner of the room darker then the rest of the room.  If you have some poly fiber (Halloween spider webbing will work too) stretch some out in a webby way and drape on the corner on the coffin.

Do you have a zombie mask available and a big plant pot?

Take the zombie mask and stuff it full of stuffing and prop it  up in a big potted plant so it looks like it is comming up out of the dirt. Stick this over by the coffin in the dark corner.  Place black cloth or something dark around the plant pot so it is not easily noticed as a plant pot. But more like a mound of dirt.

And it goes without saying that you will need to have a thriller sound track playing in the background.

Michael Jackson The Experience: New Video Game

Looking for a way to learn thriller dance steps?
at the end of 2010 UBI Soft came out with a video game called Michael Jackson The Experience.
On this game you will learn his dance steps to many of his songs. Songs like Beat It, Billie Jean, Thiller and many more.

The game is made for the following gaming systems: Wii, PS3, Xbox360, PSP ans the DS.
Unfortunetly not all of the songs are available on every system. Example: Thriller is on all systems except the DS system.

There are over 28 of Michael’s songs on this one game. However, only the Xbox360 and the PS3 have them all.
The Wii has 26 songs, the PSP has 17 songs and the DS has only 12.

NOTE: If you are only getting the game to learn the Thriller Dance Steps, the DS system DOES NOT have thriller in it’s list of songs. Wii, PSP, Xbox360 and PS3 all have Thriller in their play list.

Funny Thriller Dance with High School Teachers

For my school’s Dance Fashion Show (with the theme Six Feet Under) some teachers pulled out some killer Thriller Dance Steps onstage in full prosthetic makeup!
